Registrations will open soon, probably at the beginning of 2022! You will be informed about the exact date, the rooms & appartement possiblities later. We will give you all the information very soon!

We are trying hard to keep the cost as low as possible, at the moment we have an idea, but have to wait for a few more details to share the exact costs to you. We'll keep you posted!

Ostend has an airport that has a direct flights from different countries. The biggest airport in Belgium is of course Brussels National Airport and from there there's an easy direct line with trains to Ostend. Of course we will be there to guide you. At the moment we are in contact to get busses that brings you to Ostend if necessary. We will keep you informed!
There are good and comfortable train rides from different countries that get you easily to Ostend.
You can also get to Ostend by boat from Calais and by car. There's enough parking space in the area of the hotel.

At the moment we don't have an exact date yet, but we are trying to go on day trips at different days during the games week.

There will be busses that brings you to the exact locations. Almost all sports will be organized closeby the hotel, except golf and table tennis are a bit further away. There will be busses provided for athletes and supporters. As there is a tram stop in front of the hotel, you can also get on most locations by foot and tram.

Yes, the hotel area, beach and city center are quite a safe surrounding.

Our mainly priority at the games is that it will a safe environment for everybody. So we will keep you informed about the pandemic situation here in Belgium. At the moment there are a bit more infections due to the delta variant and the rules are a bit stricter by using a mask again in shops, in public areas and on public transport. Belgium is using the covid safe ticket to get to the fitness, restaurants and cafes. We are positive and hope to welcome you with open arms in 2022!

Ostend will be your host for the 19th European heart and lung transplant champignionships. At the 'City by the Sea', over five and a half miles of sandy beaches invites you to delightful sunbathing and a refreshing dip in the North Sea. You will be able to thoroughly enjoy sports and relaxation, strolling and shopping etc. ... Hope to see all of you in June 2022!
